New private message on project I learned a couple of things whilst visiting the house today. 1 – the floor plan is more inaccurate than I thought. Attached is a photo with a couple of key points. Note the two measurements by our pantry… I don’t know how this changes our plan. And also that the wall in the kitchen is further into the back garden than the dining room. So no bifold doors across the back. There is a requirement for fire-doors in all houses with a loft, this one included. So probably no barn doors in some key areas around the stairs. The biggest question is around those two measurements in the photo though. Does that change our plan? I don’t actually know, I just know it’s different to the floor plan from the estate agency.
